INTL. ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE (IECC) COMPLIANCE PACKAGE
Using the following information, the rater develops an energy model for your home that compares favorably to its prescriptive geometric twin. Each jurisdiction requires a different level of efficiency. The builder can choose either the TBP or ERI HERS method of code compliance. Together, the builder and energy rater consider different scenarios, materials, and methods to demonstrate the home will be as energy efficient as the jurisdiction requires before the foundation is poured, thus avoiding re-dos and ensuring success.

- IECC Report & Energy Label Rush: You have the option to rush the IECC report and energy label for an additional fee when you need it foreclosing, fast. $25.
- Additional Square Footage: Homes larger than 5,000 square feet will have an additional fee per 1,000 square feet. $125.
- Mechanical Ventilation Verification: If mechanical ventilation is required, there will be an additional fee for us to return to verify the resulting airflow amount and resubmit the rating after it is installed. $75.
- Missing PDEI: If you forget to schedule a PDEI, an additional fee will be added to the regular PDEI cost even though we didn't get to do the inspection. $100 + regular size adjusted PDEI cost.
- 2021 IECC Extra Charges: Extra charges may apply depending on severity of enforcement. (Ex. scenario modeling, slab or framing inspection, manual J load calc requirement, HVAC grading, extra mechanical ventilation testing, etc.).
- PDEI Re-Inspection: There will be an additional fee for us to perform a Pre-Drywall Energy Inspection again. This may be necessary due to inadequate pictures from the insulator or for quality control purposes. $75.
- Furniture Obstruction: If the homeowner has moved in and their furniture is obstructing our final test out, there will be an additional fee. $100.
RESNET HERS Rating Package
Using the following information, we will develop an energy model and projection for the home. This is required in most jurisdictions to indicate the proper use of the HERS method of code compliance. It is valuable for planning to pass local code requirements and making energy-efficient decisions.
