Rater/Verifier Rick Jenkins is the owner/operator of the Clean Efficient Energy Company. When Rick decided to break out and start a business, it became The Clean Efficient Energy Company, LLC., in 2006. Its mission, to encourage humanities' transition to a more healthy and sustainable future by reducing residential loads and substituting cleaner, less harmful, fuels that maintain our technologies, lifestyles and comfort levels.
Shortly after creating CEEC, Rick became certified to install solar electric panels on homes (2007), then wind turbines in (2007), became an accredited RESNET Energy rater in January of 2008, an NAHB/NGBS Green Verifier in July of 2008, and a Building Performance Institute Certified Building Analyst in January of 2009. Jenkins was one of the first ENERGY Star 3 verified Raters in the country.
Rick currently resides in Overland Park, Kansas where he and his wife Beth have been members of the Holy Spirit Parish for 15 years. Together they have raised 5 beautiful children.
Chris Storm serves as a certified RESNET rater, and has been an important member of the team at Clean Efficient Energy since 2013. He joined CEEC directly after graduating from the University of Kansas, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences. As a RESNET rater, Chris works directly with new home builders and buyers to ensure their homes meet energy efficiency standards. Outside of work, Chris has a passion for handball as well as mountain biking.
Mandy joined the team at Clean Efficient Energy in the fall of 2015. She functions as a marketing operations assistant and is training to become a RESNET certified rater. Mandy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Notre Dame, where she was a member of the varsity women’s soccer team. Upon graduating, Mandy was drafted into the National Women’s Soccer League by FC Kansas City, where she remains a contracted player. Her passion for sport is accompanied by a passion for the environment, and she looks forward to the opportunity to help create a sustainable future by educating home builders and buyers about energy efficiency applications.
Beth is Rick's wife and joined CEEC in 2015 as the company's accountant and operations manager. She and Rick have worked together all of their marriage in entrepreneurial businesses. She is excited to be working with Rick to achieve his dreams of achieving a more healthy and sustainable future by reducing residential energy loads.
Beth graduated from the University of Kansas in 1987 with a bachelors degree in accounting. She owned a retail baby furniture store with Rick for 24 years before joining Rick at CEEC.
